Hello and thank you for visiting our website

Ben and Kathryn Holme left England for Eritrea on 10th September 2004. They spent nearly a year living in the capital city Asmara. With this website we will attempt to share some of our experiences with you with regular news updates, photos and surprises!! For those of you new to the website please read the background section for reasons as to why we were in Eritrea.
