Every Saturday a group consisting of Embassy Staff, VSO volunteers other ex-pats and 2 golden retrievers meet for a walk. For this walk we were driven about 5km north of Asmara to the edge of the plateau. From here we walked for about an hour, then returned to the cars for snacks and drinks.
